La Bella Estate was founded by Teodoro’s father in 1960. Teodoro started working alongside his father in 1999 and took over the running of the farm in 2012. Teodoro is a fourth generation coffee farmer who brings a rich family tradition and knowledge to La Bella. We have been lucky enough to taste several different single variety lots from Teodoro over the years. This particular lot is 100% Caturra. Caturra is a natural mutation of the Bourbon variety. It was discovered in Brazil in the 1910s and then introduced to Guatemala in the 1940s. Teodoro takes great care in every process of his coffee, but also takes great care of his employees. La Bella offers free housing, as well as medical services free of charge to all of his staff. He knows that each investment made in his employees will show in the quality and consistency of his coffee, and we couldn’t agree more.

Orders received before end of day Wednesday, will be roasted and fulfilled the next day. All orders received after this time will be fulfilled the following week. All bags are 340g.
