The farm manager responsible for El Lilo has been cultivating Caturra on the lower blocks at La Minita for a half century. The trees are meticulously pruned and spaced to allow for airflow and light to filter through the trees. The block receives nutrients four times a year and is the very last to harvest perennially due to its elevation affecting cherry maturation. This truly is the gold standard for Caturra expression in the cup. The crisp, clean cup will shine in a V60 or Chemex.
