We first purchased Minor's coffee back in 2012. After receiving a sample of his honey process, we were intrigued by his drive for innovation and enthusiasm to try something different. Honey and natural processes were something that was extremely rare (if found at all) in Central America at the time. The main reason being the unpredictable rains that come during harvest and the potential to ruin an entire crop if the coffee is left unattended at any point. The amount of risk and how labor intensive these alternative processes were, could only sometimes reap big rewards. We were thrilled to be one of the first roasters in the states to get this offering, and we featured his honey process as our first private reserve coffee a few years ago. This year we have four offerings from Minor: an african washed, two different honey processes (a red + yellow) and a natural. This Red Honey is the final offering from Minor from 2016. We are pleased to say we will have all of these processes once again later this year, including a new addition: black honey. 

Tasting Notes: fruity and syrupy. Medium to full bodied. 

Roast Days are Tuesday + Thursday. Orders received before 12a Thursday will be roasted and fulfilled that day. All orders received after Thursday will be fulfilled the following week.
